Day 15

November 15th, 2010: Today I got to do one of my favorite things ever- ride on a ferry! I love riding on the ferries. If I could, I would choose to do this every day of the week. But- alas, it is a special treat saved for special days when I travel to the other part of the city. The reason for this today- to meet up with a new friend. We had a great time chatting for a couple hours over coffee. Day can't get much better than that- especially when you get to look at a beautiful sunset like this on your ferry ride back home. Oh, and I have officially survived Day 1 of being without Anna.

Thank of the day: Today I am thankful for peaceful, quiet mornings with Jesus. I was able to get up early this morning before the hustle and bustle of the day began and just spend time in solitude with the Lord. Those are the moments in which I learn the most. This semester the Lord has taught me to be still. To be content with being still. Some days I need to be reminded of the fact that it is ok to be still. This morning was a good start to the week.
