November 17th, 2010: Today was kumpir day! Kumpirs are stuffed baked potatoes and when I say stuffed, I mean stuffed! An area in town is known for these delicacies and we are sure to eat one whenever we go. The inside of the baked potato is mixed with butter and cheese and then you can choose your toppings. Mine was stuffed with sausage, corn, yogurt, flavored rice, red cabbage and cold salad. Delicious!
Thank of the day: Today I am thankful that Christ sacrificed Himself for me. That He filled the gap between me and God- the gap that I can't and will never be able to fill. The gap caused by my sin and unrighteousness. That He loved the world enough to die. To take on our sin and bear the wrath of God so if we believe in Him we will be saved.
