November 26th, 2010: Today we hosted our own Thanksgiving dinner for a bunch of our friends to come celebrate the holiday with us. Today was BY FAR one of the highlights of my time here. For some of our friends this was their first time to experience the holiday or even eat American food. We had American friends, language teachers and just friends we have met along the way join us today. The day was filled with laughter, fun, giving thanks and good food. So thankful for everyone who came. Thank of the day: Today I am thankful for music. Music is such an important part of my life. I listen to music everyday without fail- it brings me such joy! After most of our guests had left today my roommates and I had a Christmas music jam out session while cleaning up the kitchen. It included using utensils as microphones, the Mariah Carey and Nsync Christmas albums and hitting notes that only dogs can hear. One of the best roommate moments- of ALL time.
