Day 28

November 28, 2010: Christmas is in the air! The "winter theme" started showing up in certain stores here a few weeks ago, but now that Thanksgiving is over it is Christmas time at our house! Today we jammed out to a few Christmas songs- Vonda even introduced Shanna to the song "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas". The plan is to decorate the house on Wednesday with our new Christmas tree! I love this season and all that comes with it.

Thank of the day: Today I am thankful for the families I have been surrounded with for the past several months. They have served as such a wonderful example for me and the way that I some day hope to raise a family. Watching them has caused me to think more seriously about being a wife and mother one day and the type of servant I want to be to my family. I am so thankful for the example that they have been.
