Chocolate Mountain Cookies

This is a recipe I found from one of my Turkish cookbooks, they were new to me and turned out wonderfully:

1 1/2 cups of flour
1/3 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup melted butter (you may need more depending on how moist your dough is)
3 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
powdered sugar for rolling the cookies

Preheat over to 325. Combine flours, sugars, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in butter until mixture is well combined. Mixture will be crumbly. Add egg whites and vanilla, stir by hand until dough forms. Place a few heaping spoonfuls of powdered sugar into a dish. Roll dough into balls and then roll balls into powdered sugar to coat. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 12-14 minutes until cookies are set around the edges- they may be soft in the middle.
