Thank of the day: Today I am thankful that I serve a God who is bigger than every language, nation and people group. Besides just enjoying a delicious meal, today Anna and I also had the privilege of buying Bibles to give as gifts to a couple of the friends we have made while we having been here. Buying Bibles is something I can never grow weary of. I was blessed enough to buy and give away Bibles to people I met at sites all summer long and I fell in love with it. There is no greater gift I can give than a copy of God's Word. Buying a Bible today in another language was so...powerful. To hold a copy of Truth in my hand's that someone at some point in time had translated to the native language of this people group was incredible. I am not even sure if I can accurately describe why it was so powerful. I am just thankful for the people who have taken time to translate God's Word so that people everywhere can be exposed to the Truth of God. In buying the Bible's for the girls today we are stepping out in faith that we will see them again in the short time we have left. I am hoping that the Lord hears and answers our cry to Him that we can see them again to give them these gifts. Thankful that throughout history the Lord has sent His workers out to do His work- work like translating the Word so all can know.
