Day 3

I am already exhausted. But a good exhausted. I really do enjoy being busy- it's been good. Today was my second full day in the city. Both days have been filled with visiting of sites, finding my way around this city, planning and of course, paperwork! I decided to update my blog at this moment because it seems like a better idea than working on today's paperwork and tomorrow's to-do list.

For the last two days it has been so encouraging to visit with the people who allow M-Fuge to come and work with them for the summer. These Site Contacts do all types of work. Many of them work long hours for little pay or recognition. They do it because they love what they do, but more importantly they love the people they serve. Oftentimes, the people that they serve all year long are people that everyone forgets or cares to little to notice. It has been great talking with them and hearing some of their stories. It has also been so encouraging to hear their love for M-Fuge and the work that the students do for them all summer long.

I am blessed to have this job. To be able to coordinate hundreds of hours of volunteer work in this city. Who would have thought God was preparing me for such a task as this?
