Wait, I've done this before.....

We are moving....Again!

That's right. Two major moves in less than one year. God has provided a way for our family to re-locate to Kansas City, Missouri. This has been a desire of ours for quite some time now but we have been almost at a loss as to how a move of this magnitude would even be possible. After much digging in of our heels, sometimes sleepless nights and unnecessary worry God made a way. As He always does and I am always too quick to forget.

I want to make MUCH of this Provision. I want God's praise to be continually on my lips. I want people to look at this situation and know that this is not of us, but is rather all of Him. Only through Him would this even be possible. At every chance we get we tell those around us about what the Lord has done for us.

So, we are moving to a little house in Kansas City, Missouri that just happened to be available during the exact time frame that we needed it. We are both walking into jobs with no lapse in our pay checks. The job that the Lord provided for me pays more than I have ever made- another worry of mine quickly dismissed by the Lord, how we could afford even more expenses. The home God provided for us is right down the street from the church Zach is interning with and from the seminary he hopes to attend in 2014.  We contacted our new landlord days after his last tenant had left. Had the timing been any different this situation would be non-existent. One of our biggest concerns with moving to the big city was finding a safe and affordable place to live. Oh did I mention that our landlord if the Director of Missions for the Missouri Baptist Convention?

God answered not just our needs but even some of our wants- we have a back yard! We have a house with multiple bedrooms, not an apartment on the third floor. We have a space to call our own for at least the next year. We have a community in which we hope to build relationships and draw people closer to Jesus.

All of these details and even more were orchestrated by my God. Who doesn't forget us. Who hears us when we cry. Who stills us with His promises and the Truth of His Word-that He is faithful and His ways are perfect. That is timing is beyond me and my ability to place everything into a teeny-tiny Sarah sized box.

We are moving. In five days. Because the Lord is good, and His faithfulness never ends.

What has God been up to in your life that you need to be praising Him for? How do the people around you need to be hearing you exalt the name of the Father?
