God Hears His people!
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry." Psalm 40:1
How exciting that our cries do not fall on deaf ears. How amazing that our God listens to us in joy and sorrow, in peace and turmoil. He counsels us and guides us. As we speak to Him he communicates to our hearts. We do not serve a God that is distant or imaginary. He is not an idol or a man made creation. He hears us when we cry to Him and we can wait in certainty that our prayers will be answered.
