"This is what the Lord says- Your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17
As disciples of Christ we have the honor to learn from the Great teacher. We see all throughout the New Testament Christ's disciples learning from Him, following Jesus and living out the things that they learned. We see their failures and inability to grasp the ways of Christ which is oh so encouraging as I myself often feel the same way. And, more importantly we see Christ continuing to teach His followers and direct them in the way they should go as they stumbled along in their attempts to grasp His lofty world changing Truth.
It is important to remember that Christ was not just a teacher back then.
He continues to be a teacher today. He continues to help us learn what is best for us
and He continues to light the path on the way that we should go.
