Day 10: Bobbing Along

November 10th, 2010: Today was a long but great day. 3 of my roommates and a friend of ours went on a boat tour for a good part of today. We hiked around a new part of the city up to a fortress, ate lunch and all 5 of us enjoyed a lovely Magnum ice cream bar. Each time I eat one of these I think it may be my last chance as they don't usually sell ice cream here once it gets cold and these ice cream bars aren't sold in America. It was good to enjoy this delicious treat in the company of good friends.

Thank of the day: I am so thankful that I have been blessed with the mental ability to be fluent in one language. After living overseas and being constantly surrounded by other languages and trying to learn as much of this language as possible it has made me so much more appreciative that I have the ability to speak fluently in English. I admire people who speak more than one language as I have seen what a time consuming and painstaking process learning a new language can be. It is such a blessing to be able to communicate!
